Pool Renovation
Renovation is several jobs sequenced into one, done while the pool is already empty. It is the cheapest time to do any of them.
Draining a pool, chipping the finish and staging equipment is a fixed cost that gets paid once whether you change one thing or five. Doing the tile, the coping, the finish and the deck in a single project rather than across four separate years is usually the difference between one mobilisation and four.
A renovation usually starts with the structure. Once the shell is exposed we know what we are working with, and the scope firms up from there. Anything structural is dealt with before a single new finish material goes on.
This is also the point at which a pool can change shape. Adding a raised bond beam, a spa, a tanning ledge or steps is far more practical during a renovation than as a standalone job later.

Drain, inspect the shell, and confirm what is structural before pricing anything cosmetic.

Structure first
Cracks, hollow sections and bond beam damage are repaired before any finish work starts.

Hardscape and tile
Coping, waterline tile and deck work go in while access is open.

Finish and start up
Interior finish is applied, the pool is refilled and the chemistry is brought in.
Questions we get asked
